A complementary aspect in the process of internationalization of educational and training structures is represented by the reception of students, young people in training and staff from European partner countries.
Exchange, work, study with people of other nationalities is an enriching element of our Tuscan contexts and an enriching element for people who choose to stop in their learning path in the wonderful Tuscany and in the Arezzo area.
Location
Arezzo is the capital of the same name province in Tuscany and has about 100,000 inhabitants. The origins of the city are very ancient and boasts numerous Etruscan and Roman archaeological sites. The historic center is marked by the typical medieval features of Italian villages, crossed by the course that culminates in the stunning Piazza Vasari and in the Duomo, a Gothic cathedral dating back to the thirteenth century. Many famous people born in Arezzo, including Piero della Francesca, Giorgio Vasari and Francesco Petrarca.
Numerous events enliven the city throughout the year. Every first Sunday of the month, the historic center is the scene of an appreciated antiques fair, ideal for vintage enthusiasts. In the month of June and September the famous historical reinterpretation Giostra del Saracino is held, which involves the citizens, divided into the four opposing districts in the representation of the medieval challenge. In the summer, several music festivals dedicated to the youngest are organized.
Not just the city have a lot to offer, but the province is also full of villages and castles that have played important roles in the history of the Region. Among these Cortona is certainly the best known, a jewel of the Valdichiana. The proximity to other important cities makes Arezzo an ideal place to get to know Tuscany. It is in fact close to Siena and the Chianti hills; it is possible to take day trips to San Gimignano and Monteriggioni. Florence is well connected with the railway line and is only an hour away. Thanks to bus connections, the coastal area of Maremma, famous for its Natural Park and beaches, is also easily reachable.
The productive fabric of Arezzo is dynamic and diversified, characterized above all by small and medium-sized enterprises, but also characterized by important multinational companies at the forefront of their respective sectors.
